Pietra di Tesauro

Obtained from the Gaglioppo and Black Greco grapes cultivated in our vineyard in Strongoli with a westerly exposure and a low stock production. After maceration at a low controlled temperature for around seven days, its fine sediment is refined, followed by being honed into new casks. It has an intense ruby red colour with juvenile violet reflections. The bouquet is of spices with a hint of liquorice and cocoa. A full-bodied taste, velvety and persistent.
Excellent served with important first and second course from Mediterranean cuisine and various cold meats.
